Abstract:
This power supply circuit, which generates an output voltage of a desired level from an input voltage, is provided with: a variable resistor provided between a prescribed node and wiring to which the input voltage is applied; a voltage generation circuit for applying a prescribed voltage level to the prescribed node on the basis of a current from the variable resistor; an output circuit for outputting the output voltage of the desired level when the prescribed voltage level is applied to the prescribed node; and a regulator circuit for regulating the resistance value of the variable resistor so as to increase the resistance value of the variable resistor when a prescribed period of time has elapsed from the start of the generation of the output voltage.
