POWER SUPPLYING CIRCUIT, RAILWAY VEHICLE INFORMATION CONTROL SYSTEM, AND POWER SUPPLYING METHOD

This power supplying circuit for a communications network performs PoE power supply via multiplex paths having a main line and a sub-line and comprises: a voltage detecting unit that monitors the level of the voltage supplied from the main line; a power relay unit that is backed up and is enabled for receiving power from the main line or the sub-line and distributing power to the communications network; and a power-supply control unit that controls switching of power-receiving paths. The power-supply control unit, if the voltage level monitored by the voltage detecting unit is within a prescribed range, causes the power relay unit to receive power from the main line alone, whereas if the voltage detecting unit detects an abnormal voltage deviating from the prescribed range, compensates the voltage abnormality by switching the paths so as to enable receiving of power from the sub-line, and if there is a voltage drop during the switching, immediately compensates the voltage drop by means of the backup. When the voltage level of the main line returns to the prescribed range, the power-supply control unit returns to receiving power from the main line alone. Provided thereby is a simple and efficient power supplying circuit in a PoE-powered, multiplexed-configuration communications network.
