Abstract:
Provided is a power transmission device (10) whereby it is possible to distribute speed reducer output torque while preventing increases in apparatus size. The power transmission device (10) comprises: speed reducers (20, 30) that reduce the rotational speed of a first shaft (13) to which torque from a first motor (11) is outputted, and/or a second shaft (14), parallel to the first shaft (13), to which torque from a second motor (12) is outputted; and a differential (40) to which output torque from the speed reducers (20, 30) is transmitted. The first shaft (13) and the second shaft (14) extend in the same direction from the first motor (11) and the second motor (12), respectively, and a first output shaft (41) and a second output shaft (42) of the differential (40) are disposed in a region excluding a plane (48) in which the first shaft (13) and the second shaft (14) lie. As seen in plan view in a direction orthogonal to plane (48), a straight line extending from the first output shaft (41) and a straight line extending from the second output shaft (42) are positioned between the first shaft (13) and the second shaft (14) without intersecting the first shaft (13) and the second shaft (14).
