Abstract:
A power unit (1) is provided with: a cylinder (12) constituting a cylinder of an internal combustion engine (10); a piston 13 reciprocating inside the cylinder (12); a crankshaft (15) rotatably driven by the reciprocation of the piston (13); a transmission (20) at which a rotational driving force of the crankshaft (15) is transmitted; and a crank case (11) accommodating the crankshaft (15) and the transmission (20). The crank case (11) is provided with a partitioning wall (33) partitioning between a crank chamber (31) accommodating the crankshaft (15) and a transmission chamber (32) accommodating the transmission (20). The partitioning wall (33) is arranged such that at least a portion overlaps the transmission (20) in an axial view of the crankshaft (15).
