Abstract:
Provided are a prediction device, a prediction system, and a prediction method for predicting, with an easy method, whether an animal has the potential to acquire a disease in the near future. The prediction device is characterized by being provided with: a first predicting means for predicting the occurrence of future disease morbidity or a disease-prone state from congenital trait data including at least one kind selected from the group consisting of information pertaining to an animal's genetic information, pedigree information, and appearance information; and a second predicting means for correcting the prediction generated by the first predicting means in the light of acquired trait data including at least one kind selected from the group consisting of information pertaining to the animal's diet, information pertaining to the intestinal flora, information pertaining to the body, information pertaining to the living environment, information pertaining to diagnoses, examinations and tests, information pertaining to acquired disease, and information pertaining to treatment.
