Abstract:
A preparation method for low-cost and high-whiteness calcined talc, comprising: preparing the following raw materials by weight: 15-60 parts of magnesite or magnesite flotation tailings, 15-60 parts of silica, and 0-20 parts of talc/talc slag; and mixing the raw materials, then carrying out calcination at 1000-1500°C for 1-8 h, and carrying out cooling to 25-40°C so as to obtain calcined talcum powder/talc lumps. The method uses cheap and low-grade magnesite or magnesite flotation tailings and silica to directly prepare a calcined talc substitute by using a high-temperature solid-phase reaction process, and thus has low production costs.
