Abstract:
This pressure sensor is provided with: a tubular body (10) at least part of which is formed from a magnetostrictive material, and which deforms under the pressure of a fluid flowing through said tubular body (10); a magnetic flux generating unit (20) which generates magnetic flux orthogonal to the direction in which the tubular body (10) extends; a detecting unit (30) which detects changes in the magnetic flux in the vicinity of the tubular body 10 resulting from distortion of the tubular body (10); and a casing (50) which accommodates the magnetic flux generating unit (20) and the detecting unit (30). The casing (50) includes: a first holding portion (40) which holds the magnetic flux generating unit (20) with a gap provided between the magnetic flux generating unit (20) and the tubular body (10); and a second holding portion (45) which holds the detecting unit (30) in such a way as to provide a gap between the detecting unit (30) and the tubular body (10), and in such a way that the tubular body (10) is sandwiched between the detecting unit (30) and the magnetic flux generating unit (20).
