Abstract:
Provided is a printing cassette which can reduce transmission loss of driving force. The present disclosure is a printing cassette which can be mounted on a printing device body having a first engaging part and a second engaging part. The printing cassette comprises a drive transmission mechanism including an input rotating part and an output rotating part, and a guide case in which the drive transmission mechanism is stored. The guide case has a guide part which guides a printing tape, a first lateral surface and a second lateral surface sandwiching the drive transmission mechanism, a first engaging surface which engages with the first engaging part, and a second engaging surface which engages with the second engaging part. The first engaging surface intersects the first lateral surface. The second engaging surface intersects the second lateral surface. There is a first virtual straight line which passes through the first engaging surface and the second engaging surface and which is sandwiched between the axis of rotation of the input rotating part and the axis of rotation of the output rotating part.
