Abstract:
Provided are a printing device, printing method, printing system, manufacturing line, and manufacturing method which can suitably acquire and analyze a printing history pertaining to a resultant product even when a plurality of layers are printed. A printing execution unit 111 of a printing device 100 executes printing on printing surfaces, which are identified by printing surface identification information, on the basis of printing instruction data including: result product identification information for identifying a printed result product; a total printing surface number that is the total number of printing surfaces on which printing is performed for obtaining the resultant product; printing surface identification information for identifying the printing surfaces; and printed data on the printing surfaces that are identified by the printing surface identification information. A printing history output unit 112 outputs, in correspondence with the resultant product identification information, the printing history that indicates the result of printing executed on the basis of printing instruction data including the same resultant product identification information.
