Abstract:
The present invention creates printed matter in response to various needs of users. A label creation device 1 has: a print head 7 for performing printing; a conveyance roller 6 for conveying a printed tape T in which a release material layer 24 and a base material layer 21 printed by the print head 7 are stuck to each other; a half cutter 9B that executes half cut for cutting, in a width direction, the release material layer 24 without cutting the base material layer 21; a full cutter 9A that executes full cut for cutting the printed tape T conveyed by the conveyance roller 6; and a control circuit 2 for controlling the conveyance roller 6, the print head 7, the half cutter 9B, and the full cutter 9A, the label creation device 1 being for creating a print label L by using the printed tape T after printing. The control circuit 2 executes half cut in a portion that is of the printed tape T conveyed by the conveyance roller 6 and printed by the print head 7 and that is on the downstream side relative to a printed part on the most downstream side.
