Abstract:
Phthalimides of alkali metals are obtained by means of the interaction of phthalimide with a spirituous solution of hydrated oxide and/or alcoholate of alkali metal, which are used in an amount of 1 to 1.03-1.1 mole parts. The concentration of alcohol in the reagent mass is maintained within the range of 10-60 % by mass. The process is implemented at the temperature of 50-100oC and under the residual pressure of 0.07-0.005 MPa.
