Abstract:
In a process for producing a magnetic recording medium having a lubrication layer
superimposed on a substrate, in the step of lubricant application, a dilute lubricant
solution is vibrated so as to inhibit any ruffling of liquid surface at the time
of substrate departure from the dilute lubricant solution having a lubricant
diluted therein. The output of vibration is controlled on the basis of the amplitude
of ruffling wave, etc.
