A method and apparatus for processing a transaction. The method comprises: receiving a first transaction, wherein the first transaction is a non-read-only transaction, the first transaction comprises a first database statement and a second database statement, and the first database statement and the second database statement are respectively used for operating a first database node and a second database node in a distributed database; establishing a first database connection with the first database node; sending the first database statement to the first database node by means of the first database connection; establishing a second database connection with the second database node; sending the second database statement to the second database node by means of the second database connection; receiving, from the first database node, feedback information for the first database statement, wherein the feedback information comprises control information of the first transaction; and sending control information to the database node corresponding to the second database statement.
