Abstract:
A product management method that is executed in a product ordering system that uses a detection device for detecting the existence of a product arranged in a prescribed region to carry out an ordering process for the product. The product management method includes: obtaining, on the basis of the size of the prescribed region, a list of identifiers that indicate a product or a product category that is a candidate for ordering; displaying the obtained list on a terminal device; associating the identifier selected from the displayed list with the detection device; and carrying out an ordering process for the product in accordance with the identifier associated with the detection device.
