Abstract:
The disclosed production device that produces a wrapping paper having low flame-spreading properties for cigarettes as a coated paper is equipped with: a travel path (L) of a web (W) for the wrapping paper having low flame-spreading properties; a coating unit (10) that is disposed on the travel path (L) and that coats a combustion inhibitor onto the web (W); a pre-dryer (16) that dries the web (W) thereafter; a gravure roller (22) that is provided downstream of the pre-dryer (16) and that applies water to the entire surface of the web; a drying roller (34) that is provided downstream from the gravure roller (22) and that is a post-dryer that dries the web (W); a wrinkle-pulling roller (32) that is provided rotatably between the gravue roller (22) and the drying roller (34) and that pulls out wrinkles from the web (W) as the web (W) passes through; a displacement sensor (42) that measures the state of the wrinkles of the web (W) after the web (W) has passed through the drying roller (34); and a controller (44) that receives the measurement results measured by the displacement sensor (42), and on the basis of those measurement results, is used to control the tension that should be applied to the web (W) passing through the wrinkle-pulling roller (32).
