Abstract:
The present invention provides a technology that efficiently isolates, recovers, and reuses a solvent and/or residual monomers from a polymer-containing liquid obtained by polymerizing raw-material monomers. This production method for a polymer includes: a step (A) for polymerizing raw-material monomers and obtaining a polymer-containing liquid that includes polymers; a step (B) for isolating, from the polymer-containing liquid, a recovered-component-containing fluid that includes a recovered component that comprises a solvent and/or residual monomers; a step (C) for supplying the recovered-component-containing fluid to a fractional distillation column, isolating a fraction that includes impurities that have a higher boiling point than the recovered component and a fraction that includes impurities that have a lower boiling point than the recovered component, and obtaining a high-purity recovered component fraction; and a step (D) for performing polymerization using the high-purity recovered component fraction.
