Abstract:
The laser processing machine according to the present invention is provided with an infrared camera as a fire outbreak detection unit in a portion of a machine body of the laser processing machine. A space between the infrared camera and a laser processing position farthest separated from the infrared camera is divided into a plurality of detection areas. Through the method of the present invention for detecting fire outbreak in the abovementioned laser processing machine, a detection value of the infrared camera is corrected using an emissivity set in advance for each detection area. Fire outbreak is detected when a temperature equal to or greater than a pre-set temperature is detected continuously for a pre-set time.
