Abstract:
The problem addressed by the present invention is to motivate sustained use of necessary items in return for a transaction within a game. The problem is solved by a program which makes a computer function as: a player information storage means for storing, for each player, the quantity of the necessary items possessed which can be used in return for transactions within the game; a billing control means which increments the quantity of items possessed by the player from item purchase instructions from the player; a transaction execution means for subtracting the quantity of items necessary for the transaction from the quantity of items which the player possesses and executing the transaction by an execution instruction from the player; a display control means for displaying a screen which motivates the player to purchase items and accepts purchase instructions from the player if the execution of the transaction results in the quantity of items which the player possesses falling below the quantity of items necessary for the transaction; and an incentive granting means for granting an incentive to players who carry out the item purchase instruction when the item purchase instruction is received from the player by the display of the screen.
