Abstract:
This projection apparatus is provided with: an electrooptic element; a housing having a base part that houses the electrooptic element and a protrusion part that protrudes from the base part; a projection lens that projects image light applied from the electrooptic element onto a projection object, the projection lens being disposed to face the protrusion part and attached to the base part; a first suction fan that sucks gas into the protrusion part from a first suction port formed in the protrusion part; and a guidance mechanism that guides the gas sucked into the protrusion part by the first suction fan into the base part.
