Abstract:
The present invention provides a protective casing for a portable communication terminal, comprising: a soft protective casing body formed to correspond to the shape of the portable communication terminal; and a hard protective casing edge member tightly connected to an outer edge of the soft protective casing body. The protective casing body has a structure for covering a rear surface and a lateral surface of the portable communication terminal such that a display part of the portable communication terminal is exposed outwardly. The protective casing body includes a functional button operating part for one or more functional button protrusion portions or functional button penetrating portions, the functional button operating part being capable of operating functional buttons of the portable communication terminal in the state where the rear surface and the side surface of the portable communication terminal are covered. When a communication terminal is provided with the protective casing of the present invention, said protective casing can enable a user to freely operate various functional buttons from outside of the portable communication terminal in the state where the display part of the portable communication terminal is constantly opened. The protective casing of the present invention enables an edge part of the portable communication terminal and the protective casing to tightly contact each other, improves the durability of the protective casing and feeling of holding the portable communication terminal, and achieves aesthetic enhancement in terms of outer appearance.
