Title:
PT-RE CATALYST FOR SYNTHESIS OF HYDROGEN, AND METHOD OF PREPARING HYDROGEN USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/108353
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a platinum-rhenium catalyst for preparing hydrogen, and a method for preparing hydrogen using same, wherein the catalyst for preparing hydrogen according to the present invention comprises: a porous carrier; platinum supported in the pores of the porous carrier; and rhenium mixed with the platinum and supported in the pores. According to the present invention, since platinum and rhenium are mixed and supported in the porous carrier, dehydrogenation activity is remarkably improved even at low temperatures, and thus, hydrogen can be effectively obtained from a liquid organic hydrogen storage tank.
