Abstract:
This invention provides a push ring 14 that is fitted over a spigot, that faces an open end surface of a socket from the outside, that is connected to the socket by a plurality of fasteners, and the pushes a sealing material into the socket. The push ring has a pressing surface that presses the sealing material, a plurality of fastener insertion holes 21 into which the fasteners are inserted, equally-spaced regions 29 in which the intervals between the fastener insertion holes 21 in the circumferential direction A are maintained at even intervals S1, and an enlarged interval region 30 in which intervals S2 between any two fastener insertion holes 21 adjacent in the circumferential direction A is larger than the equal intervals S1, the enlarged interval region 30 being provided with a reinforcing member 23.
