Abstract:
A radar device, which continuously transmits a plurality of transmission pulses into space, sequentially receives reflected signals from a target, and measures a distance and Doppler frequency to the target, comprises: a radar signal generation unit (50) including a code generation unit (1) that generates basic codes; an interval modulation unit (11) that modulates the interval of the codes generated by the code generation unit (1), and generates N code sequences (N is an integer of 2 or greater) that are mutually uncorrelated; and a transmission unit (2) that upconverts and amplifies the code sequences generated by the interval modulation unit (11), and generates a transmission signal for emitting M code-modulated transmission pulses per observation time per pulse repetition period (M is an integer of N or greater).
