Abstract:
Provided are a radar image processing device, a radar image processing method, and a radar image processing program that efficiently extract similar blocks, and have increased speckle reduction processing performance relative to calculation cost. This radar image processing device comprises: a search range determination unit that determines a search range on the basis of a reference block and a layover direction, said reference block being set as a focus area within a radar image that is generated from data obtained via imaging radar, and said layover direction being a direction in which layover occurs in the radar image and being estimated from the incident directions of electromagnetic waves that are used in observation via imaging radar; an extraction unit that, by searching within the search range, extracts a similar block included in the search range, said similar block resembling the reference block; and a filtering processing unit that uses the reference block and the extracted similar block to perform filtering processing to reduce speckle occurring in the radar image.
