Abstract:
A monitoring system according to an embodiment provides a railway vehicle monitoring system which strengthens security in a railway vehicle, and includes: a plurality of cameras (C1-C4) installed at a plurality of positions in the vehicle; an image information aggregation unit (31) which can aggregate at least some images among images captured by the plurality of cameras (C1-C4); a transmission amount adjustment unit (32) which changes a data size of the aggregated image from the image information aggregation unit (31), compresses the data size-changed image, and generates thumbnail image data into which a plurality of images after the compression are synthesized; and transmission unit (33) which transmits the thumbnail image data to a ground system.
