Abstract:
The present application belongs to the technical field of communications. Disclosed are a random access method and apparatus, and a terminal and a network-side device. The random access method comprises: a terminal device sending a plurality of physical random access channel (PRACH) signals, wherein a plurality of PRACH resources that are used by the plurality of PRACH signals respectively correspond to a plurality of different downlink reference signals; a target PRACH resource among the plurality of PRACH resources that are used by the plurality of PRACH signals is associated with a quasi-co-located signal; the quasi-co-located signal is one or more of the plurality of different downlink reference signals; and the quasi-co-located signal is used by the terminal device to receive a first downlink signal, which is a Msg2 message or Msg3 retransmission scheduling information or a Msg4 message.
