Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a ratchet wrench in which both compactness and locking performance are achieved. [Solution] An electric ratchet wrench that is one example of a ratchet wrench, the electric ratchet wrench comprising an electric motor, a holder 26 by which a socket 28 is rotatably held via a one-way clutch mechanism 30; and a spindle 22 that converts drive force from the motor into reciprocating rotational motion of the holder 26. A space is provided between the socket 28 and the holder 26. The space has large-clearance sections and small-clearance sections which are adjacent to the large-clearance sections in the rotation direction (locking direction) of the socket 28 and in which distances Kb, Kd are less than the large-clearance section (distances Ka, Kc). The one-way clutch mechanism 30 is disposed in the space and includes columnar locking pins 140, which have a diameter of such size as to be equal to or less than the distances Ka, Kc of the large-clearance sections and greater than the distances Kb, Kd of the small-clearance sections.
