Abstract:
This raw cover loading device is a raw cover loading device for loading, in a standing position, a raw cover (T) conveyed in a lying position into a predetermined location, and is provided with: a bucket (2) which has a first support member (5) and a second support member (6) that are located on both sides in the cover width direction of the raw cover (T) in the standing position and support the raw cover (T); a bucket width adjustment mechanism (8) which steplessly adjusts the distance between the first support member (5) and the second support member (6); and a control means which controls the bucket width adjustment mechanism (8), and the control means is configured to adjust the distance between the first support member (5) and the second support member (6) on the basis of information relating to the cover width of the conveyed raw cover (T). Consequently, the present invention can be adjusted to appropriate bucket widths according to the raw covers (T) with various cover widths, thereby making it possible to prevent the occurrence of an insertion failure and side toppling of the raw cover (T).
