Abstract:
A new AC (alternating current) LED (light-emitting diode) lighting control/driver scheme is provided, and the scheme uses a reactive element for the purpose to produce the required LED lighting current. With monitoring and protection as inherent features in the present solution, the scheme is highly efficient, highly practical, and universally applicable to all AC based LED lighting applications.
