Abstract:
A reactor for propylene polymerization is provided with which it is possible to stably and efficiently produce a propylene polymer at low cost by multistage consecutive vapor-phase polymerization using an olefin polymerization catalyst, and to greatly diminish the generation of off-specification products which accompanies changes in polymerization conditions. Also provided is a process for producing a propylene polymer. The reactor for propylene polymerization, which is a reactor for producing a propylene polymer by multistage consecutive vapor-phase polymerization, is characterized by being equipped with at least one horizontal reaction vessel having a stirrer inside, the stirrer rotating around a horizontal shaft, and at least one complete mixing tank connected to the horizontal reaction vessel. In the process for propylene polymer production, the reactor is used.
