Abstract:
This reception device comprises: an antennal control unit; a characteristic variable antenna through which MIMO signals transmitted from a plurality of antennas are received while switching antenna characteristics on the basis of a control signal outputted from the antenna control unit; a conversion unit for sampling the signals received through the characteristic variable antenna at a prescribed sampling cycle; a signal division unit that extracts each signal from a plurality of signals that correspond to a plurality of antenna characteristics and are acquired by the conversion unit; and a MIMO signal demodulation unit that executes a MIMO demodulation process for signals outputted from the signal division unit. The characteristic variable antenna comprises a plurality of passive elements. The antenna control unit outputs the control signal to the respective passive elements with time difference.
