Abstract:
A recombinant botulinum toxin and a preparation method therefor. By designing and optimizing the heavy chain and light chain sequences of the recombinant botulinum toxin, adding and cleaving protein tags will not introduce amino acid residues which are not present in the original sequence of the botulinum toxin, while efficient and stable expression of the botulinum toxin and preparation of the active botulinum toxin can be carried out. In addition, the processes for purifying the toxin protein can be greatly simplified, thereby achieving efficient preparation of the active botulinum toxin.
