Abstract:
A recombinant organism and a method for producing mycosporine-like amino acids. The method comprises: an organism construction step, comprising: providing an organism of which endogenous genes are knocked out, and integrating an xylose metabolic gene into a genome of the organism to obtain an organism capable of producing S7P by using xylose; and a DDGS-OMT construction step, comprising: integrating at least one of a DDGS gene and an OMT gene into a genome of the organism obtained in the organism construction step, to obtain an organism capable of producing 4DG by using xylose. The yield of mycosporine-like amino acids is remarkably increased by knocking out endogenous genes.
