Abstract:
The invention of the present application provides a recovered-carbon-dioxide purifying method in which, by bringing a carbon dioxide gas containing at least 3-methylmercapto-propionaldehyde and acrolein into contact with activated carbon, at least one of 3-methylmercapto-propionaldehyde and acrolein is removed. The invention of the present application also provides a methionine manufacturing method including a step for purifying said recovered carbon dioxide gas.
