Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a recovery device that is for an endoscope, that makes it possible to reliably deploy a housing part for a foreign object or the like, and that enables performing a surgical operation without causing such a housing part for a foreign object or the like to get caught in the digestive tract. [Solution] This recovery device 1 for an endoscope is formed of a supple material, such as a silicone rubber, suitable for application to a living body, and is equipped with a body tube 2 having a prescribed length. The body tube has formed therein an endoscope insertion lumen 3 having opening at both the leading end and the back end in the axial direction. A balloon 5 is attached, at the base end side thereof, to the leading end of the body tube, and has the leading end side thereof extended by a prescribed length so as to form a sac. The balloon has disposed therein a plurality of balloon supporting pillars arranged in the circumferential direction at a prescribed interval. The balloon can be reversed in a inside-out manner towards the body tube side in the vicinity of the attached base end, and can also be deployed in a horn-like manner when a fluid is injected inside the balloon.
