Abstract:
This method for manufacturing a recycled cyclic olefin resin composition including [1] a recovered cyclic olefin resin (A), the method including a step (1) for heat treating: the recycled cyclic olefin resin composition having the ratio (w2/w1) of the mass (w2) of oxygen (O2) included in the recycled cyclic olefin resin composition to the mass (w1) of the entire recycled cyclic olefin resin composition being 100 ppm or less; [2] a molded body including the recycled cyclic olefin resin composition described in [1] above; [3] an optical component including the molded body described in [2] above; and [4] a recovered cyclic olefin resin composition including the recovered cyclic olefin resin (A) under an inert atmosphere or under reduced pressure at a temperature between (Tg-50°C) and (Tg-1°C) inclusive, where Tg is the glass transition temperature of the recovered cyclic olefin resin (A).
