Abstract:
The present application provides a reference signal transmission method and a communication apparatus. In the reference signal transmission method, a second time unit is a time unit indicated by a timing offset indication n in an effective uplink transmission time unit or an effective downlink transmission time unit starting from a first time unit. The first time unit is used for receiving first information, the first information being used for triggering a terminal device to send a reference signal; the second time unit is used for the terminal device to send the reference signal. Compared with the manner in which the timing offset indication n indicates the timing offset between the first time unit and the second time unit, this embodiment can improve the flexibility of selection of the first time unit, and reduce the number of bits required for the timing offset indication.
