Abstract:
Provided is a method for operating a refrigeration appliance. The refrigeration appliance comprises a cabinet provided with a food storage chamber, and the food storage chamber is provided with a drawer slidably mounted within the food storage chamber. The refrigeration appliance also comprises a sensor for detecting atmospheric conditions within food storage compartments of the drawer and a camera assembly configured to monitor the drawer. The method generally comprises: using the camera assembly to obtain an image and analyzing the image to identify a first food and a second food in the food storage compartments of the drawer.
