Abstract:

One embodiment of this refrigeration cycle device is provided with: a refrigeration cycle that causes the discharged refrigerant from a compressor to pass through a condenser, a plurality of expansion valves, and a plurality of vaporizers connected respectively to the expansion valves, and returns the refrigerant to the compressor; and a detection unit that, on the basis of a first state quantity of the refrigeration cycle at a first point in time and a second state quantity of the refrigeration cycle at a second point in time further in the past than the first point in time, estimates a first total aperture at the first point in time of the plurality of expansion valves for the case that refrigerant leakage is hypothesized to not exist in the refrigeration cycle, and detecting refrigerant leakage in the refrigeration cycle by comparing the first total aperture to a second total aperture, which is the actual total aperture at the first point in time of the plurality of expansion valves.
