Abstract:
A refrigeration device and a control method therefor. The refrigeration device comprises a housing that defines a refrigeration compartment, door bodies, a camera mounted in the refrigeration compartment of the housing, a user detection assembly, a controller operably coupled to the camera and the user detection assembly. The door bodies are rotatably hinged to the housing for selective access to the refrigeration compartment. The camera is alternately activated in a low-power sleep mode and a high-power wake-up mode. The user detection assembly is mounted to the housing and detects the presence of a user in a manner independent of the door rotation. The controller receives a detection signal from the user detection assembly, determines the user presence on the basis of the received detection signal, and in response to determining that the user is present, switches the camera from the low-power sleep mode to the high-power wake-up mode.
