Abstract:
To secure an adequate refrigeration capacity when a carbon dioxide refrigerant is used. Provided is a refrigeration device (R) in which a refrigerant circuit comprises an evaporator (41), an electromagnetic expansion valve (39), a gas cooler (28), and a compressor (11) having a first rotary compression element (14) and a second rotary compression element (15) driven by the same rotary shaft, wherein the refrigeration device (R) is provided with an electric expansion valve (33), a tank (36), a split heat exchanger (29), an electric expansion valve (43), an electric expansion valve (47), an auxiliary circuit (48), a main circuit (38), a control device (57), and an auxiliary compressor (60). The compressor (11) and the auxiliary compressor (60) are provided in parallel. The refrigerant that has passed through a first channel (29A) of the split heat exchanger (29) flows into an intermediate pressure part of the auxiliary compressor (60) and the compressor (11).
