Abstract:
A refrigeration device, comprising a box body and a container. The box body comprises a shelf, the shelf having a surface operably coupled to a thermoelectric cooler. The refrigeration device is configured to apply a voltage to generate a current, so as to move thermal energy from a first side of the surface to a second side. The container comprises an upper chamber and a lower chamber. The lower chamber accommodates a phase change material. The phase change material is configured to, when the container is placed on the surface of the shelf, be in thermal communication with the upper chamber and the thermoelectric cooler.
