Abstract:
Provided in the present invention are a refrigerator and a defrosting control method therefor. The method comprises: starting a defrosting apparatus at a preset time period, so as to defrost an evaporator, and discharge defrosting water, which drips from the evaporator, to a first evaporation pan; continuously detecting a liquid level value of the first evaporation pan; determining whether a high liquid level event in which a liquid level value of the first evaporation pan is higher than a first liquid level threshold value occurs; when the high liquid level event occurs, opening a flow path from the first evaporation pan to a second evaporation pan, and recording the current opening moment; and determining the preset time period according to an opening interval duration between the current opening moment and the previous opening moment. By means of the present invention, a defrosting period can be adjusted in a timely manner according to the defrosting condition of an evaporator.
