Abstract:
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a refrigerator which is capable of reducing the formation of dark and hard-to-see areas in a captured image of the inside of an article storage part, without adding limitations to the placement of interior lighting, and for which operation control can be easily performed. [Solution] A refrigerator 10 comprises: a refrigerator main body 20 which is provided with a refrigeration chamber 26 capable of storing articles and a door 32 for opening and closing the refrigeration chamber 26; and an image capture unit 60 which captures images the inside of the refrigeration chamber 26. The image capture unit 60 is provided with an image capture part 62 which captures images of the inside of the refrigeration chamber 26 and a light emission part 66 which supplies light to an image capture subject. In the refrigerator 10, the light emission part 66 is disposed in the periphery of the image capture part 62, and therefore it is possible to capture images in a state in which the inside of the refrigerator main body 20 is illuminated with a sufficient amount of light.
