Abstract:
A region detection device (1) is provided with an acquisition unit (10) for acquiring the fingertip image of a fingertip that includes a nail, a conversion unit (30) for converting the fingertip image into a polar coordinate image in which one inside point of the nail in the fingertip image constitutes the pole, and a detection unit (40) for detecting the region of the nail using the polar coordinate image.
