Abstract:
A sleeve is a cylindrical member for connecting a tube to a cylindrical body of a joint. This sleeve comprises a first peripheral wall end section that opposes a peripheral wall end section of a cylindrical body, and a second peripheral wall end section that is press-fitted into an opening end section of a tube. The first peripheral wall end section includes: a ring-shaped projection that is press-fitted into a ring-shaped groove included in the peripheral wall end section of the cylindrical body; or a ring-shaped groove into which a ring-shaped projection is press-fitted, the ring-shaped projection protruding in the axial direction and being included in the peripheral wall end section of the cylindrical body. The second peripheral wall end section has a bulging section for expanding the diameter of the opening end section of the tube from the inside. An outer peripheral section of the first peripheral wall end section has a flange that opposes, in the axial direction, the peripheral wall end section of the cylindrical body.
