Abstract:
This rehabilitation assistance device provides comfortable rehabilitation to a user and is equipped with: a detection unit for detecting the orientation of the head of a user wearing a head-mounted display; a first display control unit for generating, in virtual space, a rehabilitation target object to be shown to a user and for displaying the target object on the head-mounted display according to the orientation of the user's head detected by the detection unit; and a second display control unit for displaying a notification image for notification of the position of the target object on the head-mounted display.
