Abstract:
A relay apparatus and relay method by which incorrect relaying of information is prevented by judging whether a wireless signal is to be relayed according to an error detection function of the wireless signal. The relay apparatus relays a wireless signal between a transmitter station and a receiver station, and is provided with a reception unit which receives the wireless signal from the transmitter station, and a relay judgment unit which judges whether to relay the signal, according to the error detection function of the wireless signal received by the reception unit and based on a first line quality showing the line quality from the transmitter station to this relay apparatus.
