Abstract:
A relay submarine optical fiber cable structure capable of reducing the direct current resistance, comprising: an optical unit, an inner armoring steel wire (4), a resistance reduction layer (3), a conductive tube (2), and an insulating sheath (1) which are arranged from inside to outside. The resistance reduction layer (3) comprises at least one conductive tape. The conductive tap extends along the axial direction of the conductive tube (2), and is wrapped on the inner armoring steel wire (4) or is spirally wound on the inner armoring steel wire (4). According to the relay submarine optical fiber cable structure capable of reducing the direct current resistance, the resistance reduction layer (3) is additionally provided between the inner armoring steel wire (4) and the conductive tube (2), so that the direct current resistance of a submarine optical fiber cable is reduced, the resistance reduction layer (3) does not need to be welded, the missing weld rate of argon arc welding is reduced, the production convenience is ensured, and the rate of finished products is high.
