The method comprises: a first electronic device sending a remote assistance request to a server (201), wherein the remote assistance request is used for requesting the establishment of a remote assistance connection between the first electronic device and a second electronic device; the first electronic device receiving remote assistance verification information, which is sent by the server (202); the first electronic device generating a target message on the basis of the remote assistance verification information, and sending the target message to the second electronic device (203), wherein the target message includes the remote assistance verification information; and the first electronic device establishing the remote assistance connection with the second electronic device on the basis of feedback information of the second electronic device (204), wherein the feedback information is information that is fed back by the second electronic device on the basis of the remote assistance verification information.
